Red Bank, NJ (April, 2014) Carter and Cavero is pleased to present hand-carved  bowls from Spain and Peru. These handmade bowls, made by artisans with many years of experience, will bring a touch of class to any table. Carter and Cavero offers six olive wood bowls, each one uniquely beautiful.

The dipping bowls are carved from a solid piece of wood.  The smallest dipping bowl is perfect for holding individual portions of dip at a party. Since each bowl is hand carved from a solid piece of wood, sizes vary slightly. For that reason, Carter and Cavero doesn't give dimensions and capacity for the wooden bowls. The next size bowl is considered to be a medium and is perfect for an individual salad.

There is a large salad bowl that is just exquisite due to the grain of the olive wood showing in the large bottom of the bowl. The light and dark tones within the wood are absolutely gorgeous. With a colorful salad, this bowl would be the centerpiece of any table.

The olive snack dish is an oblong bowl with a slight indention on one side which brings a very interesting look to the dish. It would also be a great bowl to hold chips.

Then there are the heart stealers. The lemon and olive bowls are true show stoppers. The delicate carving on each bowl is breath taking. Fill the lemon bowl—more of a platter—with lemons and place in the middle of a long table to bring visual and sensual pleasure to all who sit down. The olive bowl filled with varying types of olives will also make a stunning display.

Carter and Cavero was established in 2007 by four friends who knew nothing about pottery or wooden bowls. Their goal was to bring fine dining experiences to everyone in America. They are constantly looking for new things to introduce to the public.  Today they import fine pottery and wooden bowls from Spain and Peru. They also offer terracotta bowls, platters, glasses, and olive jars.   They started with one store and a goal of offering products with no artificial ingredients.  Today they have five stores and the public can’t wait to see what they will showcase next.
