Children’s author Anabelle Valenzuela-Alarcon has published her first book, ‘The Day an Angel Ran into My Room’, which is not only fun and enjoyable for both children and parents, but also very educational. The book teaches children they can change their own world through positive thinking – a lesson that many adults still have difficulties in learning and applying. Thus, Anabelle Valenzuela-Alarcon’s book prepares children for life and for what the world has to offer them, but in a constructive way.
The main character is a little girl named Alessandra. One evening, she asks her mother if she can stay up just five more minutes because she wants to keep playing. Once her mother leaves the room, Alessandra is visited by her guardian angel – Angelisse. She is equally delighted and surprised, because she has always believed in guardian angels, and now she has the proof that she is, indeed, not alone. Angelisse is there to teach her many things that will help her understand the universe better, and learn how important every person is. Moreover, the angel teaches Alessandra many magical things. She shows her how she should meditate and visualize, and how she can use these techniques to shape the world according to her desires and beliefs.
The book is illustrated by Sarah Latham, and the children will love the pictures. Angelisse is exactly how one would imagine an angel looks like. This can only help parents explain to their children that they all have a guardian angel that looks after them. It is important for the little ones to feel they are not alone because this can help them grow into self-confident adults who understand the laws of the universe, and know they are guided by a greater force.
The author of ‘The Day an Angel Ran into My Room”, Anabelle Valenzuela-Alarcon, was inspired to write this book by her children and spiritual teachers, such as Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, and Marianne Williamson. She says that at the time when she was writing her story, she was also listening to inspirational recordings about personal transformation and seeing the world from a different perspective. Thus, as the author states, her book ‘transformed itself into an inspirational tale for kids that transcends any religion or culture’.
