LOS ANGELES (PRBuzz.com) December 7, 2012 -- The second episode of the AudioDrop production based on Nicola Cuti's beloved space vixen Moonchild is now available at AudioDropCentral.com. "Lair of the Spider Queen" is the second of three episodes in the miniseries based on Mu Comics' "Moonie and the Spider Queen."
Created by Nicola Cuti (Co-creator of E-man) in the 1960s, the free spirited and usually scantily clad Moonie became a beloved character in underground comic books circles and also appeared in men's magazines and novels. This is the first time Moonie has been brought to audio and AudioDrops worked very closely with creator Cuti to make it happen.
"Lair of the Spider Queen" follows the first episode in the series "Enter the Moonchild." When we last saw them, Moonie and her new associates Torry and Perry were in peril at the hands of a giant monster after the starbabe had learned about the two men's less than honorable plans for her. The three-part mini-series will conclude with "Homecoming, which will be available exclusively from AudioDropCentral.com in January.
"Lair of the Spider Queen" features the voice talents of Michael Cornacchia (Happy Feet, Legion of Super Heroes), Lin Gallagher, Andrew Staton and Scott Bailey (Television's Guiding Light). Original music was scored by Chris DuBrock and the series is scripted and directed by Eric Erickson
