October 13, 2014 - Marlow, Buckinghamshire -- Fit4U is delighted to announce the launch of the latest new product in its range of quality exercise equipment, which is designed to be able to help all ranges of age and ability to transform and improve core strength muscles – in particular abdominals, arms, shoulders and back muscles and even thigh muscles.
It is long been recognised that one of the most effective ways of improving core strength is by using abdominal exercise equipment in the shape of simple ab wheel rollers. The basic design involves a small wheel with two handles which is rolled backwards and forwards while the user kneels on the ground. The process of stretching in and out puts pressure on the abdominal and back muscles, and to some extent the arms and shoulders.
Progress was basically achieved by increasing the length of the rollout, the length of time the stretch and the number of repetitions of the exercise.
The Fit4U Multi-Action Ab Roller Wheel adds a new dimension and versatility to this proven exercise, and because it is required to do more than the traditional Ab Roller Wheel, its construction is more robust providing a smoother and more stable action.
In addition to the standard exercise of kneeling and rolling the ab roller wheel backwards and forwards in front of the user, the Fit4U Multi-Action Ab Roller Wheel can be adapted by repositioning the grips or handles from the centre of the wheel to an offset position. Using this mode to carry out the traditional roll out with a circular movement of the hands, significantly increases the intensity of the workout on the shoulders and arms, and to some extent on the back muscles.
It also enables people who have yet to develop sufficient strength or suppleness to execute a full rollout, to practice by standing up and running the Fit4U Multi-Action Ab Roller Wheel up and down a wall. This is a useful exercise in its own right, irrespective of whether people actually progress to an abdominal workout, and is particularly helpful to more elderly users who may wish to increase their mobility and suppleness in their shoulders and arms.
In addition the Guide which accompanies the Fit4U Multi-Action Ab Roller Wheel describes exercises which can be used not only to intensify the work on the upper body, but also by attaching the Roller to the user's feet, significantly benefits the legs and thighs as well.
