Eric Garner's death has not been forgotten. The Website Getfaithbook. Com has dedicated a page to Eric Garner that will allow people to remember the pursuit of justice in this case. According to the Webmaster “the site stands for fairness diversity and equality for all people. Regardless of race, religion or nationality “
The New York City Medical Examiner’s office, ruled the July 17 death a homicide caused by the “compression of his neck (chokehold), compression of his chest and prone positioning during physical restraint by police” and asthma, heart disease and obesity were contributing factors,
Officers were attempting to arrest Garner for the alleged sale of untaxed cigarettes when he was involved in a clash with Two NYPD Officers ,Daniel Pantaleo and Justin D'Amico. Amateur videos of the incident clearly show Pantaleo place Garner in a chokehold, and the 43-year-old died a short time later.
Speaking about the death of Garner Rev. Al Sharpton is quoted as saying “And if you can do it to him you can do it to any citizen, we are not going to be silent while that happens,” Sharpton goes on to say “Most police do their jobs, but those that break the law must be held accountable,”
Getfaithbook.com has designed a series of Teeshirts that powerfully express the feelings of many who viewed the disturbing video. Captions such as “No Justice No Peace”, and “Justice For Eric” are just a few that are available on the website. Getfaithbook.com also features a line of Christian Teeshirts.
