Nestle has struggled in its attempts to engage in legal action to force its rivals to cease selling hard coffee pods which are compatible with its proprietary coffee pods system.

The competitive landscape in coffee in Switzerland remained highly consolidated at the end of the review period, with the leading three companies combined accounting for 72% of total off-trade value sales.
