Think Beyond the Label to help IRS find and recruit qualified job seekers with disabilities nationwide, promote IRS's commitment to building an inclusive work environment
CHICAGO (PRBuzz.com) August 20, 2013 -- The Internal Revenue Service is the latest employer to join Think Beyond the Label, a private-public collaborative that connects businesses, job seekers and the public workforce system together to ensure greater employment opportunities for workers with disabilities.
Think Beyond the Label will help the IRS find and recruit qualified candidates with disabilities and build awareness for the government agency's disability hiring efforts. As a disability recruiting partner, Think Beyond the Label will feature the IRS as a sponsor on its digital hub, promote the agency's career opportunities on the Think Beyond the Label jobs board and publicize the IRS's dedication to building inclusive, high-performing teams. It also will provide the IRS with information, resources and direct connections to qualified job seekers with disabilities.
"The IRS already has established itself as a dedicated leader in diversity hiring and has partnered with Think Beyond the Label to expand its access to qualified candidates with disabilities," says Barbara Otto, CEO of Health & Disability Advocates, the Chicago-based policy and advocacy organization that operates Think Beyond the Label. "Through this partnership with Think Beyond the Label, the IRS continues to demonstrate its crystal-clear commitment to building a diverse workforce that includes qualified workers with disabilities."
