About The Unleavened Truth
The Unleavened Truth is a collection of 18 essays about life, love, laughter, and alliteration. The stories are about growing up, growing old, growing fat, falling in love, trying to fall in love, getting booted out of love and my crush on Cookie Lavagetto. What distinguishes this book from others about the same topics is the engaging and, yes, very funny, pun-filled and pithy way in which it is written. They essays reveal angst-filled lessons about life that you can relate to and make you laugh.
My essays are so personal that I had to create a literary genre called "notaubiography" to protect my privacy. Notaubiography wavers between complete honesty and almost honesty, allowing me the leeway to maintain my privacy and avoid lawsuits. The emotions, neuroses and situations are real, while names, times, places and other noun-like words "ain't necessarily so." People call me a witticist, but it feels so unwitful to admitful.
