(PRBuzz.com) October 11, 2012 --  Book Club Reading List today announced that The Unleavened Truth has enrolled in its growing database of tomes from which book clubs can schedule the author to attend their meetings. Every quarter, Book Club Reading List sends a newsletter to book clubs around the country notifying them of authors that have joined their program. The Unleavened Truth offers book clubs an invitation to sidle into Darryl's world of wordplay, puns, poignancy and the chance to laugh at the things that made you cry as a little girl or boy. These essays cover everything from growing up in a loud Jewish household to InterNOT dating to loving baseball and Jon Stewart.

Ms. Forman has made herself available by Skype, phone, and in-person (when possible) to attend book club meetings and discuss her novel, The Unleavened Truth. To find more information about her book or learn how to set up a time with Ms. Forman, please visit her book's page on Book Club Reading List - http://bookclubreading.com/the-unleavened-truth/.

About The Unleavened Truth

The Unleavened Truth is a collection of 18 essays about life, love, laughter, and alliteration. The stories are about growing up, growing old, growing fat, falling in love, trying to fall in love, getting booted out of love and my crush on Cookie Lavagetto. What distinguishes this book from others about the same topics is the engaging and, yes, very funny, pun-filled and pithy way in which it is written. They essays reveal angst-filled lessons about life that you can relate to and make you laugh.

My essays are so personal that I had to create a literary genre called "notaubiography" to protect my privacy. Notaubiography wavers between complete honesty and almost honesty, allowing me the leeway to maintain my privacy and avoid lawsuits. The emotions, neuroses and situations are real, while names, times, places and other noun-like words "ain't necessarily so." People call me a witticist, but it feels so unwitful to admitful. If you smiled when you read this, or If your book club is like mine and is as much about the book as the wine served, the unleavened truth is that you're going to want this author of The Unleavened Truth to be a guest at the next meeting of your book club.

A book by Nora Ephron, may she rest in peace, and my book came out on the same day. I say this, because I have been compared to her and found it flattering. I also have been called the Jewish female David Sedaris. Does it matter that my BFF was the one to say it? Please check YouTube for interviews, especially the one about Jon Stewart.
