New York, NY — February 23, 2016 — Hunt Mortgage Group, a leader in financing commercial real estate throughout the United States, announced today that it has provided a $6.5 Freddie Mac small balance loan to finance the acquisition of a multifamily property located in Seattle, Washington.

Located at 1406 East Republican Street, Yardhouse Apartments is a 35-unit apartment property that was built in 2014.  Situated on 0.23 acres of land, the property consists of one four-story building.  Property amenities include a parking garage and rooftop deck. The transaction has a 20-year term (7+13 hybrid ARM) with 30-year amortization and includes seven years of interest only. 

Yardhouse Apartments was acquired from Seattle-based Revolve Development for $13.95 million.  The borrower is CFLP Yardhouse Apartments, LLC, a newly formed entity backed by the Costacos Family Limited Partnership. The Costacos family was advised on the acquisition by Trinity Real Estate.  

“Yardhouse Apartments is in excellent condition, has performed very well in the local market and was sought after by many investors,” noted Jeffrey Ballaine, Vice President at Hunt Mortgage Group. “The current vacancy rate is 2.86% and has averaged 5.96% over the past 12 months. 

“The Costacos family are new Hunt Mortgage Group and Freddie Mac sponsors, but they are financially strong, and seasoned commercial real estate investors,” added Ballaine. “We were pleased to facilitate this acquisition for such a strong sponsor.”

The deal was brought to Hunt Mortgage Group by Tom Craig and Mark Dibble with one of our correspondent brokers, DSC Capital.

I guess some people would pin me as a metal head or an emo but my style changes consistently. My favorite sweater has Miley Cyrus riding a bike with ET.

Tell me about the knife tattoo on your right arm.
It was done by my friend Eddie and I got it a little over a year ago. At first it was just something I wanted since music was working out so I wanted to get something that would show I wasn't worried about getting a day job anymore. Then I received a large cut on it while drinking from a broken beer bottle at EDC in Vegas and it looked dope so I let it scar.

How has your style evolved since you started producing and playing shows?
I’ve actually began to dress more and more the way I always have, darker edgier and fun at the same time. For a while I was wearing a lot of black shirts with white patterns but I need more color in my style.

Fashion-wise, how do you stand out from other producers?
I guess a lot of people know me for wearing brutal death metal shirts with massive bloody designs and some have pinned circle glasses as a thing for me but I'm not a sunglasses at night kind of DJ, nothing against it but I'm blind as it is haha.

What genre(s) of music most influence how you dress?
I guess metal music had the biggest influence. You’ll never see me in a pair of pants that aren’t black jeans, and a metal shirt is never far from me.

Bendigo, Victoria, Australia - A new Kickstarter campaign is seeking to fund the graphic novel, “Disparity” written by Ben Singleton. Disparity is the story of James, a man pushed out of the company that he started, with a number of lingering questions. When he's offered the answers, he jumps at the chance. But the people answering the questions don't necessarily have his best interests at heart.

The campaign is seeking to raise $4,971 by March 19.

The creation of Disparity began almost 2 years ago. In the original conceptual phase, it was initially to be an epic ongoing saga set in a post-apocalyptic future. While there's still some traces of that which are teased in upcoming volumes, the story has evolved into a character driven story that incorporates drama, action and romance. "In a way, I'd envision this as actually being a prequel to the story that I originally wanted to tell." Singleton said, "I had a premise for the original story, but when I sat down to ask myself how the world came to be exactly where it was, I found a more compelling story in how the fallout between 2 friends changed everything."

The script has already been completed for this volume, and the story and layouts weigh in at around 15,000 words.

The project has truly taken on an international flavor. The artist for this project, Ari Syahrazad, was hand-picked from a list of over 60 possible artists. Based in Indonesia, he has completed the concept work and is currently inking the novel. The project Colorist, Jose Expósito, originates from Spain and thus far has perfectly captured the essence and style of the work.

The remaining work on the project and the focus of the Kickstarter campaign is the inking, coloring, lettering and printing. The artist is contracted for 3-5 pages per week with artwork to be completed by October. The colorist is anticipating a similar timeline to completion. Once each of these elements is complete, the novel will go to print, allowing for a fourth quarter 2016 delivery of the final product.

The campaign is offering several rewards for backers. At the $10 level, backers can get a digital copy of the completed Graphic Novel, as well as a wallpaper for their computer. Their name will also appear in the rear of the book on the thank you page. A $35 pledge gets backers a hand signed hard cover copy of the graphic novel. At the $95 level, backers can get a hand signed copy of the hard cover book, as well as a display case designed and manufactured by Focal Point Design. See pictures in description.
